We hope this message finds you well! We're thrilled to share some exciting news with you – the launch of our brand new feature: Private Podcasts!

A private podcast is a unique and exclusive listening experience that is not publicly accessible to everyone. Unlike traditional podcasts available on popular platforms like Apple Podcasts or Spotify, private podcasts are restricted to a specific audience, offering a more personalized and tailored content delivery. These podcasts find utility in various scenarios, such as internal communication within organizations, exclusive content for subscribers, educational purposes, or limited distribution to specific groups.

Why Private Podcasts?

Internal Communication: Organizations can use private podcasts to conveniently share updates, training materials, or company news with their employees.

Membership Content: Content creators, educators, or businesses can offer exclusive content to select subscribers, enhancing the value of their offerings.

Educational Purposes: Schools and universities can utilize private podcasts to deliver educational content to enrolled students, maintaining a focused learning environment.

Limited Distribution: Podcasters can create private episodes for a niche community or a specific group of friends, family members, or listeners.

How to Create Your Private Podcast

Unlocking this feature is easy! Simply upgrade your plan beyond the basic level. Once upgraded, follow these steps:

Navigate to the right-hand side of your dashboard and click on "Create podcast."
Opt for the 'Create a private podcast' option.
Proceed with the regular podcast setup process.
Upload your episode and publish your private podcast.
Customize your email invite template for your subscribers (optional).
To control subscriber access based on their email domain, specify a domain. Invitations will be sent only to emails associated with the designated domain (optional).

This streamlined process ensures a hassle-free experience for setting up and managing your private podcast content.

Adding Subscribers to Your Private Podcast

Adding subscribers is just as easy! Currently you can add upto 100 subscribers to your private podcast. Here are three ways to do it:

Direct Invite: Click on 'Subscribers' in the right-hand dashboard of your private podcast, enter the email address, and an automated invitation will be sent.
CSV File: For bulk invites, compile multiple email addresses into a CSV file and upload it through your subscribers' dashboard.
Sharable Link: Share a link that potential subscribers can click to easily subscribe to your private podcast.

To remove subscribers, click on 'Remove.' It's essential to note that each subscriber receives a unique RSS feed for your private podcast. Once removed from the subscriber list, the unique RSS feed ceases to function for that individual.
